Our staff of Mental Wellness Coach's provide a concierge service to assess and connect first responder's or their family members with a therapist that understands the public safety culture.
The NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) recommends to upgrade your EAP service to an all encompassing program called a Behavioral Health Assistance Program (BHAP). A BHAP should offer members of your department direct access to 1:1 care and support when it comes to connecting to an effective counselor who understands the fire service culture.
The NFPA newest revision will also recommend yearly Mental Health Assessments for all members. PSCS has developed a platform to conduct these assessments and coaching sessions in an online appointment and be able to compare outcomes on a yearly basis.
First Responders deserve better and faster connection to caring professionals. We have developed a referral process to connect our members in need of mental wellness services in a timely manner. You can contact our staff through an online form, text, or call and we will find you a specialist who can fit you in their schedule.
